Studying particle physics

On a particle physics course, you’ll learn advanced physics with a focus on particle physics. Particle physics is a highly topical area of study and there have recently been major breakthroughs in the particle physics field, meaning you’ll be learning cutting-edge physics. You’ll learn how to detect particles and cover topics including the theory of relativity, nuclear physics and dark matter. After completing your undergraduate degree, many students continue studying, and obtain an MSc or PhD in physics.
