Studying ethics

Ethics is the study of moral principles and conduct. It’s a philosophical discipline which forms a fundamental element of the study and practise of law, and can also open doors to careers in fields like politics, journalism, and corporate practise. Topics often studied at degree level include early modern philosophy, methods of reasoning, human rights, and moral dilemmas. Postgraduate study options can include masters and Ph.D. programs in applied ethics or philosophy, offering the chance to study further into a specific topic, or conduct interdisciplinary research into adjacent fields such as anthropology, biology, economics, sociology, and theology.
