A fashion degree at uni will set you up to work in one of the most creative and fluid industries there is. Studying fashion is hands-on, as you’ll gain practical experiences alongside learning about fashion theory. Topics you could cover include design, fashion marketing, fabrics, fashion skills and techniques, the history of fashion and digital technologies. Many courses also include placements in industry. There’s a wide variety of career paths in the world of fashion that graduates can explore, from the design and creation elements of the industry to the sales and marketing side of things. Possible job roles that graduates can look to get into include fashion designer, merchandiser, art director, stylist and fashion PR officer.
