A natural sciences degree will teach you how to understand the natural world through the study of science, observation and experimentation. The subject is often split into two branches, one being life science, which is concerned with biology and the other being physical science, which looks at the earth and space. The subject is considered a fairly broad study of the universe, as you won’t specialise too much in one specific science discipline. You’ll get to grips with industry-specific skills and techniques like scientific research, data analysis and lab skills, preparing you for work or further study after graduating. Some of the job roles that natural science graduates can eventually apply for include biotechnologist, clinical scientist, neuroscientist and pharmacologist.
