Studying a physiotherapy degree is for those wishing to pursue a career as a physiotherapist. Not only will you learn about the human body and how it functions, but you will be taught the fundamental skills to assess an injured patient and treat their physical problems. Physiotherapy degrees tend to include a mix of both practical and theoretical work, so that individuals recognise the role that physical, psychological, social and environmental factors all play. Other than a physiotherapist, graduates work as sports therapists, personal trainers, osteopaths and in education.
