Studying registered general nursing

On this nursing course, you’ll be studying the principles of healthcare and nursing, and learning how to treat a wide range of conditions and support doctors and other healthcare professionals. You’ll learn how to care for patients with professionalism and empathy and gain the skills you need to begin your nursing career. Upon completion of the course you could opt for further study should you wish to specialise further, or you can opt to go straight into your nursing career. To get a role as a nurse, you’ll have to apply for registered nurse status upon completion of your course, after which point you’ll be able to start working.
