Great support and really nice campus that feels safe.
Could have more opportunities for work experience, internships etc, with more help to find these opportunities.

The course is taught in varieties of ways which I really like (online, lectures, seminars, workshops etc). Course hours are easy to handle and everything is accessible with time gaps etc. Contact with lecturers could be better and how often you can contact your advisor should be increased - for me I can only see my advisor in a space of one hour on Monday mornings which I don’t think is great. The course is really interesting though and I find that they are really helping us in first year to work out how to write essays, reports etc and how to navigate note taking in lectures.

I love how modern it is and there’s lots of space for storage in my room. The kitchen has got great appliances which we have never had a problem with. It feels really safe with many checks happening and you cannot get in to the building without your campus card. The layout is amazing with ways to be able to make more friends outside of your flat. My only issue is that the wifi cuts out constantly which really makes me anxious and causes issues with me trying to join online workshops and do my studying.
The university is welcoming to all and has a fantastic multi cultural atmosphere.
I feel the disabled advice staff could be more helpful, especially to new students.

Moodle is very helpful and easy to use.
Classroom timing could be better as some classes overlap and when the lecture is only an hour long, loosing ten minutes at the start of lectures is not helpful.
Queens is a great place to study because of its people. Here I met the nicest most professional in the areas of education and social justice. It has a fantastic library with a good access to so much knowledge.
Also the uni gives really good financial support for PGR students, so many of my colleagues are getting scholarships.
I think uni’s accommodation is quite pricey and leaves a lot of room for improvements, like the laundry facilities. Not all schools’ buildings are renovated and well equipped. Usually humanities suffer most in this sense, and their schools and departments look much less fancy

Well, I think teachers are really good in their fields and always know what they are talking about, overall. However, the overall structure of the course is too simple. It is just lecture format usually with very little assignments and active interaction during the class.

The accommodation is very pricy but also offers fully furnished rooms with lots of extra facilities (which is just fantastic). However, in terms of security I have some major doubts because the dorm area is fully accessible for everyone. It does not check ID or card. It mixes masters students and PhDs and mature students, which is also a decision that has some flaws. I think PhDs and masters students have totally different lifestyles and both might prevent each other from having a nice studying experience. Laundry facilities are totally awful, they are always crowded and become dirty very fast. I also have doubts if anybody cleans them after all.
Living on campus almost feels like you are in a little village and there are so many study centers where you can meet so many people and also get so much help, one aspect that I would say is a downfall is the building work that is going on and I know that it is to improve the campus but I was not warned about how noisy it would be rather told it would only be minor

I took a gap year so doing a foundation year is really helping me to fully understand how to write essays again let alone how to write a degree-style essay as well as many other things I am learning extra in this year. I would say however I almost feel like there if more pressure on academic development rather than course knowledge.
