I am an international student and it's my first time in the UK. BGU has made my stay worthwhile from quick response to the environment itself, it facilities and amenities etc.it is small campus but well organized and has all that is needed. The location is also strategic, as it is close to major places ,the student hostel is also comfortable.
I believe my course is one of the most prospective courses as far as I am concerned. One has to be serious and learn the practicals at place to gain the right experience to be a certified teacher.
The lecturers and mentors are really helpful. The support you get with writing assignments is great.
The learning has been great. The content has been really useful.
A bad aspect would be bad it’s up a hill and therefore it’s quite difficult to get to the location however it’s near a town where we can go shopping and grab a coffee before lesson or hang with friends after. A good thing about uni is that I’ve managed to make great friends even though I commute, as well as improve my confidence in speaking and writing. Also I have improved my confidence in talking in lesson as well.
Everything about my course is incredible: I love the staff as they are always available to help me, the placement is amazing and I really enjoyed it, the lessons are taught so I understand it well.
Student support from the actual officers is amazing, they’re all fantastic welcoming people. However the actual tangible support is fairly poor and the placement office is absolutely dreadful when it comes to recognising and acknowledging student wellbeing and finances.
Some things should be in person when they’re online and vice versa
I have never felt more supported both in terms of academics and in terms of my mental health needs. The university campus is so small and friendly and it’s so easy to navigate, not to mention beautiful. It’s also such a beautiful abs accessible location. I couldn’t be prouder to be a student here. Fantastic university!

Its friendly and helpful letting you reach your full potential
Its nice that we have access to necessary equiptment for our experiments
Its cheap and avalible to all first years as priority
The chaplaincy is the most incredibly welcoming space. The staff at the uni all care about students individually. The environment is all so warm and friendly.
It's a PhD, so none of the above are too relevant, but the teaching is excellent, and all PhD students get private study booths.
Great learning ambience, good library and CELT facilities
In class and 5:30 and face to face contact
Provide all learning amenities
Well equipped
Best - library / staff Improvements - placement schools are not local enough
Best - mostly back in person now Improvements - Nothing major
BGU is an extremely friendly university which is set in a safe and green location. The support from the lecturers is amazing, they also go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. Lots of societies and free events which means you’ll have an easy time making friends here. I really recommend this university as a great place to both live and study.
Interesting course with great placements. The lecturers are hugely supportive and work incredibly hard to make their seminars interactive and enjoyable. A wide type of assignment methods, keeps everything enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to learn new skills.
