I did my BSC ADULT nursing in Buckinghamshire new university and I really like it, the location is convenient, teachers are good and libraries are very easy to access. Plus it nice to go back and so more top up course for my nursing career.
Na
Best- The area is very student friendly, the facilities are good. Worst- Lack of staffing on my course
Lack of lab use for my course
Most- how close it is to campus, warm, safe and cheap Least- Lots of broken items, ground floor dampness
Not enough microwaves at university to facilitate student. Best is the support from lectures
None
communication on the course isn't very good, we get emails all the time that are relevant to other intakes and no ours and this gets confusing.
the course communication is rubbish, we get emails that arent relevant to our intake and this becomes confusing, we have had change of staff regularly with different teaching skills this is difficult.
The best part is having very supportive lecturers The worst part is something things ate not organised well

I haven't had any bad experiences so cannot share any negative aspects. They are supportive in your studying journey, and respectful and mindful of struggles that I've gone through during my time with them. I would without a doubt recommend Bucks to anyone and I am happy to be apart of the BNU community :-)
I have done most of my studying online. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to do this Masters even from Dubai. The material is helpful as are the professors, and all in person workshops are recorded so that the ones unable to attend don't miss out on anything. They encourage self-care and give tips on how to keep from getting overwhelmed with the course work, something that I have appreciated as I easily overthink things, falling down research rabbit holes etc. I have only once had it happen that one professor took a few days to respond to an email I sent, all others will come back to me within a day or two.
The campus link bus is never on schedule. There’s little to no support from the university when things go wrong.
Course is not structured well, is disorganised and there is no communication from university staff at all. No support on placements from the university I have not yet seen my personal tutor this year. The lectures never answer emails
Very convenient place! So close to the town, bus station, student union and university. You get what you pay for. Last year the room allocations were much better with all nursing students being bunched together as there is a mutual respect and understanding when it comes to the shifts. I have had issues with a guy in my flat this year who’s a theatre student and screams at the top of his lungs at 3am in the morning which is no helpful with the shifts I do for placement
Is nice to have all the great views around the vicinity.
We have good 1 hour break in between and 10 - 15mins break in between lecturers. Contact with lecturers is very good
Best is the people the atmospheres good and the teaching is exceptional
Teachers can never be more helpful I’m very grateful
