I think they should include more essential courses regularly such as First Aid Courses. We have access to the library 24/7 which is amazing! My course has a lot of equipment which can always be accessed so that helps with revision and exams
Different rooms for our lectures add interaction in the lectures such as quizzes do it can help us with our understanding and knowledge
fix the wifi
I appreciate bnu and all its facilities
I have a lot to learn but I am thriving off my lectures
Buckinghamshire university is a good university to study at in my opinion but, the support is slow and it’s too far for me hence why I’m taking online courses. I think tutors should engage with us online students more an give us more alternatives to help us.
I wish I had proper access to my course
Buckinghamshire New University is known for providing high-quality teaching, excellent facilities, and a supportive learning environment, which makes it a great place for studying. The university has invested in state-of-the-art facilities, such as modern lecture halls, laboratories, and studios, which provide students with the tools they need to succeed in their studies. It makes every student feel comfortable, staff and students are so friendly. Bucks new uni could focus on bringing more resources in for the students e.g. more life time experience trips to give us a feel of what outdoor life can look like on an educational factor. Perhaps a volunteering trip abroad. Personally, I study airline and airport management, a trip which involves in working for an airline or tourism company abroad would be a great trip for students to learn and gain new skills and overall would make the university and even better place to study. Overall, Buckinghamshire New University's strong industry links, excellent teaching, modern facilities, wide range of courses, and supportive learning environment make it a great place for students to study and prepare for their future careers.
I love my course, I find it very interesting and I couldn’t say a bad word about anything. Course Hours are perfect, there isn’t too much jam packed days, however I would prefer to split up the lecturer and activity workshops as this can be too information heavy at times. I would like to have home work tasks to improve on learning and perhaps be given worksheets out in class as I find this more engaging and find it easier to learn.
Halle gave me the chance to meet new people and create friendships which allowed me to get me out of my comfort zone. Halls are in a perfect location near campus, shops and transport links. It allows me to get to places easily. It can be noisy at times which can make it difficult to sleep at night. I love the halls, it’s a great place to live.
State of the art facilities
Quality studies in all aspects
Bucks is a great place to study because there's a lot of support and the teaching team are fantastic
Everything about the course is great
more flexibility for learn, study and work
more understanding
its located in the centre which is great
I love to study at BNU because of the community. The students to the staff are just so welcoming and amazing to work with. Improvements I could suggest may be organisation. There had been quite a few incidents where there has been issues with timetables that we have been given (for example last min room changes or the wrong room completely). I’d just say to keep on top with that :)
I love the practical aspects of my course. They’re very engaging and me and my fellow class mates really enjoy learning this way. Though some of the modules we have to learn can be quite challenging and at times boring, so as a way to keep us engaged throughout I’d definitely recommend more practical and engaging sessions for all of our classes.
I absolutely love the fact that the Uni is placed within the town centre. It is the perfect place to learn, there are so many great places to eat, there is a fab shopping centre etc. though it can be a bit frightening at times as the Uni is very open and the public can come and go as they please and walk by, some people can be a bit creepy I have noticed haha!
When I first moved here I loved how easy it was to make friends within Hughenden, due to the amount of students here. It was the perfect opportunity to fit in to the new community. However for improvement I think that the number of students living here needs to be taken into consideration a lot more. (For example more washing machines needed) :)
on a post graduate course so dont need student life / Student union support really but i can see from communications that they very active and want to support all students . facilities seem very good and location of campus is Wycombe is very doo
don't require placement tutors are excellent and very supportive although prefer face to face/ on line rather than e learnig / self directed the course is well structured and good blended learning
Is a good place to study as we are always supported.
Good support from the teachers.
