Halls of residence offer the best of both worlds, giving freedom and independence, with support close at hand. Most rooms are ensuite and prices for 2023/24 range from £140 to £224 per week, including all utility bills, internet and basic contents insurance. University of Gloucestershire students benefit from a range of services, information, and support to help them get the most out of their experience. They have their own personal tutor throughout their degree who, together with the ‘Your Future Plan’ team, provide individual support and help to prepare students for their future careers.
Careers consultants also run free regular workshops on all aspects of career development, while study support from the Student Achievement team includes workshops, one-to-one appointments, and online resources to make sure students achieve the grades they deserve.
Student Helpzones provide the first port of call for information about every aspect of student life on all 3 campuses. Support is also available, completely confidentially, for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Trained counsellors can listen and help manage the pressures of university life and can support students with mental health or wellbeing issues through one-to-one sessions, workshops, and lots of other resources.
The chaplaincy team are available for students of all faiths and none. Each campus has a welcoming faith space where students can drop in for tea or coffee or just a quiet place to sit.

You'll be shocked by the number of clubs and societies on offer at University of Gloucestershire. There's something for everyone! As well as being able to pick different clubs and societies, most courses let you choose modules at different points through your degree.
As well as personalising your course through optional modules, you may have the chance to do a work placement during your studies. Developing your professional skills through work placements is a great way to add to your CV and boost your employability.
If you want a job you love (and who doesn't?), getting a job in a field you're passionate about is a great place to start. By studying a subject you really enjoy, you'll be qualified for a range of jobs relating to that subject, which you'll hopefully love.
