The reason BU is such a good place to study is because of how welcoming the students and the teachers are when you are going into your lectures for the first times however there could be a bit more help around making it clear where to go that first week around campus

I've really enjoyed my University experience. One of the best parts is the wide range of module choices my course has. One of the worse parts is that my course is on Lansdowne campus.
I enjoy the wide range of module choices for my course, however there is a lack of trips and practical work.
I enjoyed halls.
The best aspects of my time at Bournemouth Uni were the people, the nightlife and the area. There honestly isn't anywhere you would want to be more when the sun comes out and you and all of your mates can head down to the beach. The nightlife in Bournemouth has always had an amazing positive feel to it, its a fun and vibrant place to be, whether you are out on a Tuesday night TOAST, a snakebite Sunday or even a Cameo Wednesday, there is always something fun to be doing with your pals. The Clubs were a key part of my time at Bournemouth. I joined the Rugby Team in my first year, and it made my time at University 1000x better! There is always such a good feeling between all the teams and you get to make connections with people outside of your halls or your course. These are the friends that I have been closest to across my entire University Journey and the people that I am still closest to now! The people of Bournemouth are AMAZING and If I could go back and do it all over again, I would choose Bournemouth 100% of the time. (That says alot considering it was my back up choice in the first place). I would recommend so so highly.
The course in general was taught well. BSc Marketing Is one of those courses that you will get a mixed bag of Lecturers. Some will be Extremely exciting, funny and genuinely interesting. And others are clearly there to collect the paycheck and breeze by with as little effort as possible. There were some extremely exciting projects that we got to complete across the course though. A favourite of mine was getting to develop a Company Audit for Bournemouth Football Club and then present to their actual head of Marketing about potential new opportunities for club and shirt sponsors. We got suited and booted, and went to present in their head boardroom within the stadium. SO much fun and really makes sure you get your hands on with the projects.
The Beach is amazing, thats the key factor here for me. There is so many bars and activities to be going out and doing, but with Bournemouth having the beach it does, that is whats makes Summers in Bournemouth so magial. Its like there is a positive feeling in the air that makes everyone excited and happy. Unbeaten. Go to Bournemouth now
The people made all the difference, the rooms weren't anything special, but the vibes in those halls parties and meeting new people literally everyday that you would then turn into being best of friends with made all the difference. if youre torn between joining halls or not... DO IT it will be the best decision you make while at Uni and be sure to be outgoing and open to meeting people. Because remember, everyone else is just a much a stranger to you as you are to them. Everyone will be nervous but its about moving into a new stage of your life and then embracing it. Only then will you understand why everyone praises their time at University so much.
Professional management staff
I really appreciated
Bournemouth University has to be one of the best Universities in Europe. It has so many facilities to aid learning and facilitate research. I'm glad I chose BU from the options I had.
The course content is continuously updated per lecture to provide up-to-date and relevant teaching.
The best aspect of university is the social aspect and location, including the campus and places you can sit etc. The worst part is how expensive the food is, especially in fusion and the lack of support for students, especially during cost of living crisis.
The best aspects of our course, is the seminars and workshops. As we always know we can ask them anything. The worst thing about the course is the fact that we haven’t done much counselling content.
The best aspect was I rlly like my room. It was nice and comfy. And I would go back. The worst was the management as they didn’t take us seriously all the time and the location was too far away from campus
the best aspect of university’s is the social aspect and the worst is the prices of food and the lack of support
I think it should be all recorded and luckily my course is still online .
uni is very expressive, everyone is kind, students and lecturers alike. the worst part is the prices of food and snack.
wasn’t too sure about what the course might be like but i’m enjoying it now
the staff and building is lovely but the people living here or at least who are let in, ruin it.
Best aspects - friendly, open and safe campus Worst aspects - cleanliness of outside sometimes around bins
It's good because there's lots of independence and the teaching quality is good But it's bad because it's a lot of information and sometimes there's a lot to cover in an hour (63 slides in an hour)
My flatmates are really good Maintenance take a while to come sometimes
