I’ve loved the campus and study spaces! The city is a great night out too. The student support services have been helpful but there are areas that could be improved. It would be nice if the gym membership was cheaper than competition in the area and the sports pass was free.
Great facilities but too many pre recorded online lectures in my opinion
Great city with good nightlife and social things to do.
Great halls just could do with modernising
Lecturers here are absolutely stellar, couldn't ask for a more engaging course. 4 hour wait to see the wellbeing team... not exactly great
Aren't really that many negative aspects about the course, maybe an intensive work load but that's to be expected. Every single lecturer is engaging and passionate, never a boring day.
Best - SUSU weekly events
Best - High status of lecturers
Nice spacious layout
Good lecturers and helpful as well
A bit old, but good room
The students union could be better
Great facilities needs to have more labs
Great as far as hallsgo
Beautiful campus Plenty to offer from facilities and to societies Becoming a more diverse environment
The course is intense as expected but the staff and lecturers provide help and guidance when needed
Archers Road very affordable accommodation with an ensuite included
Best aspect: The Islamic society and the facilities for marine biology make it a very nice uni Worst aspect: WiFi in halls a bit poo, and as a Muslim I am not a big fan of stags, the sports bar on campus. Often many cool events are held there for various societies, but the environment makes me uncomfortable both personally and as a Muslim.
I absolutely love my course, my hours are nice and the content + unique facilities such as the research vessel Callista provide really valuable hands on experience. If I had to give any downsides, it would be the distance of NOCS (National Oceanography Centre) from the main campus as well as my halls of accommodation. Then again, travelling is integral for marine biology in my opinion so its not too bad.
Wessex Lane is nice, my room is pretty good and the kitchen is not tiny. There are some minor anx major gripes though. For example the bathroom is a wee bit small, which admittedly I can get used to. However the WiFi is absolutely horrendous for the amount I'm paying. I wonder if eduroam is this poor for everyone or just me.
Pros: diversity, green, sustainable, work opportunities Cons: transport
Pros: diverse options, you shape your course.

Southampton's rich cultural diversity is an amazing aspect, studying alongside students from different places enables me to expand my worldview. I'd say that the transportation could be improved.
Excellently taught course, using the top facilities and resources. No complaints at all, apart from a slightly long number of hours which is expected for such a rigorous course
Great Common areas, nicely designed Halls with good security. I'd say the bathroom is a bit small, but it's only minor
Best. Societies and people Worst. Some of the facilities
Only good
