Centrally located within Preston, convenient for train and buses.
Campus is quite modern , library good , always feels quiet probably due to the amount of studying online.
Did not stay on campus so not sure about the life and support.

Obviously, experiences vary and subject to course, individual and lecturers but I would place a "buyer beware" re sports courses at UCLAN. We were shocked by the timetable, very little face to face teaching, no more than 5 hours a week. Much self study, online etc. justified as a result of post COVID.
Didn't seem well organised with very little support, most lecturers very young with no real world experience .. often complaining about how busy and how little time they have ... whilst being hard to contact and talking (in some cases) their other various paid jobs up.
Term ran from Sept to April with full holiday half term so with only 1 to 2 days at best on campus that about 50 days out of 365. This leaves a lot of time which if you're happy doing home/self study I guess might work but didn't for us.
Obviously cannot compare with other courses, many students including my son ended up dropping out, if you stay the course ( pardon the pun ) it would seem you are pretty much guaranteed a degree as that's the way it seems to work, those who then get a degree give good feedback and the course justifies its existence, the circle continues. For us it was too much of a strain mentally with little support to do this.
As above not sure if its reflective of everyone's experience I'm sure it’s probably not but I'd look at all options and ask some questions before looking at this option.
