Great community, good city and great student union. Can do with some better campus aesthetics.
Lecturers are helpful and responsive to queries via email, Neuroscience content is interesting however there can be more guidance to future prospectus.
Wifi is really fast, facilities such as laundry are close and there is 24/7 security. Can be a bit overpriced for en suite room.
Being an international student in Aston university is such a great experience. I never felt homesickness in university. People here are so welcoming and kind. They are always there for you. I'll never regret my decision of choosing Aston university for my masters. The location, climate is so perfect. I'll definitely recommend Aston university.
My course is business analytics and here they teach from basics. Mode of teaching is offline for all the modules. Teachers are very supportive. They clear your doubts very well.
I live in William murdoch accommodation in university campus. It is the best place to live in not because it is only 3 min walking distance from university but also the facilities provided are great. You will never feel that you are alone here because of environment.
Working very hard in my course. The Lecturers are very skilled and professional in there job.
Every thing so far is going on well.
The location and structure of the school makes it a great place to study. Aston University has great facilities and historical information, this makes it a good choice to study and explore further. It also provides opportunities for students who have completed their studies.
The best aspect of studying Drug delivery is the applications of the scientific theories that were taught. There are well equipped laboratories and research institutes in Aston University which made it possible to study efficiently. Majority of our courses are taken in classroom, there are also materials provided for personal studies, or for those that might have missed the class. The library section is well equipped and efficient, it provides students with the best books and resources for reference studies as well as computers and photocopiers. The course hours for drug delivery is not ambiguous, the lectures are approachable and patient to support students in their course work.
Aston University has a global reputation for quality teaching, it offers a range of courses which focus on building practical experience and entrepreneurship skills for unbeatable employability. It is a diverse, close community and welcomes international students. Students from over 120 different countries chose to study with us every year. Based in the centre of Birmingham, Aston is not only a great place to study, it's also a great place to live. The Aston University 40-acre campus is ideally located on one site in the vibrant city of Birmingham. The city is recognised as a leader in leisure, entertainment, shopping and sport and is an international centre for business, commerce and industry.
The students hall is a great place to be and study. It is located within the campus, it has free WiFi access, there is great management of the facilities and there is great value for the money being paid.
Best aspect is my course and the exposure which I get in the course as a part of Business school of Aston. It could be improved if students get the part time job opportunities in University itself.
Best aspect is the exposure which our course provides us to different case studies and practical problems of the industry. We are brushed up a lot to get the industry ready and the international level of work culture. It can be improved if we get a chance to do internships related to our own course in some industries.
It's great to have so many areas where students can come and study, however I do think that it could be improved by having some more quiet spaces as some of the study areas are a bit noisy and there should be dedicated areas where it is quiet so students can study and revise and not get distracted by the noise.
The course it taught mostly in person, all of the course materials is on blackboard and is great to go back to just in case something was missed out on the lecture and allows us to get more time going over the content that was taught in the lecture/seminar.
Very good student support from lectures and easy access to lecture notes and learning resources. The campus is small and close together which I like, makes it more convienient. Could have more community space in the SU though it is decent. Some lecture rooms could have more desk space and more plug sockets.
It is very full on. I was kind of expecting to have more free time. One day a week we start at 9 and finish at 6 which can be very tiring especially when commuting. The work set is manageable, we can reach out easily.
Too expensive
The crisis and disaster management centre will prove to be a useful tool for this programme
Nice environment to study and socialise at and the campus is quite close to the city centre to relax and have some fun. There isn't really anything to improve on.
The lecture notes are already online so you can read up on the topic before the lecture and the lecturers are super friendly. I also really like how the lectures are in person as it motivates me to come to uni and get some work done. To improve, the lecture rooms could have more plug sockets and wider desk spaces so we have enough room for laptops.
The conducive environment
It's amazing
