ASK A QUESTIONWhile LIBF doesn’t have its own accommodation, it can help students find the perfect accommodation through their links with organisations including UNITE and International Student House. They offer high quality and affordable student accommodation in large halls, many of which have private en-suite bathrooms for students.
Accommodation options are available within walking distance of LIBF, or within a short journey via public transport, helping to keep costs low and ensure students can safely and comfortably return home once they have completed their studies. If they’d like, LIBF can put students in contact with a student buddy who has already been through the accommodation process before.
LIBF’s on-campus Student Centre is a place where students can get support with everything from academic guidance to student activities. It’s a place where they can meet with staff members or study individually. There’s also the option to use the Senate House Library. Located in Bloomsbury, Central London, the Senate House Library can be used as an additional study space during the evenings and weekends.
At KnowledgeBank, students will find high quality business and finance sources and the latest industry journals, including Financial World magazine, which brings together some of the best journalists and experts in the sector to comment on and discuss what's happening in the industry.
LIBF students will also have access to the Bloomberg Terminal – the industry standard for trading room facilities across the City, with more coverage of data and news than any other trading software. Designed to train investors and economists, it will help students research companies, countries and economics and allow them to take the Bloomberg Market Course (BMC) – an e-learning introductory course on financial markets – at no extra cost.
