Harper Adams University specialises in courses connected to the agri-food chain, animal health and rural sector. Set on one countryside site in Shropshire, midway between Birmingham and the Welsh border, the uni sits on a rural farm which is just shy of 500 hectares in size. This allows students to get a hands-on education in subject areas like food production, land management and sustainability. Since its establishment in 1901, Harper Adams has developed a strong reputation and has previously performed well at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards, recently finishing in first place for Student Support and second place in the Courses and Lecturers category.
