As a result of this, entry onto a course at Suffolk is competitive and subject to the satisfaction of a range of entry requirements
Entry requirements vary from course to course. For example, students looking at the university’s art and design courses may be required to submit a portfolio, as well as meeting the stated entry grades. Students might also be required to attend an interview at the university before being offered a place.
Those wishing to gain a place on a health course, such as midwifery, will need to achieve the stated entry grades and complete a successful interview. Students will also be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, a health check and show two satisfactory references.

Athena Hall is the on-campus halls of residence on Ipswich Waterfront, located just ten-minutes from the town centre. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and share a kitchen with other housemates. What’s more, 90% of graduates are in employment or further study within 15 months of graduating (Graduate Outcomes Survey).
Employability is embedded into many of the university's courses, with course content designed in collaboration with leading industry professionals, ensuring that graduates are well prepared to take the first steps into their chosen career pathway with confidence.
