9) Kasbah nightclub

Why you should go: Kasbah nightclub is a student favorite in Coventry for a reason! It’s been around since the 1990s and continues to be one of the most popular student nightlife venues in the city. The club offers live music, DJs spinning a variety of genres, and plenty of drinks to keep you partying until late into the night (or early into the morning). With its unique atmosphere and friendly staff, Kasbah is an rite of passage for students looking for a fun night out. 

10) Lunt Roman Fort 


Good for: Learning about the area’s ancient history. 

What it is: A preserved Roman fort. 

Why you should go: It’s an ancient fort built by the Romans and it offers visitors a unique look into the past. The fort has been preserved and maintained, meaning there’s still plenty to see and explore. It’s only open on certain days in school holidays and tickets are cheap but must be pre-booked. 

Key information about studying in Coventry 


In Coventry you’ll find two unis on offer – the University of Warwick and Coventry University. The University of Warwick is a short bus journey outside of the city itself, whereas Coventry University is closer to the city centre.
