Situated in the world-renowned, historic and beautiful city of Canterbury, made famous by its cathedral and religious significance, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) was originally opened as a teacher training college in the 1960s. It’s continued to have a strong reputation for teacher education and health-related courses, but students can now go there to study a varied range of undergraduate courses in the arts & humanities, education, health & wellbeing, and social & applied sciences. The uni’s location, in the heart of Canterbury, makes it one of only a few educational institutions with a campus inside a World Heritage Site, and because it’s in Kent, students can get to London within an hour by high-speed train.
