Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)
Regent College underwent a review by the QAA (which safeguards quality in UK higher education) in September 2016 and received a commendable outcome from its 2017 monitoring visit. An annual return visit in September 2018 confirmed that the college continues to maintain academic standards and enhance the quality of, and information about, student learning opportunities.
Since then, the college has continued to build on its strengths – namely, ensuring that students across all subjects are given a quality education that utilises the latest industry learnings and research, from tutors who have extensive experience as professionals within their field. The college is known for providing an excellent balance of academic and hands-on learning alongside industry-specific advice and guidance.
And another key strength of the college is its locations, and the networks within the London area that the college can cultivate for the benefit of its students.
The college does not have a traditional students’ union; however, there is a student representative system in place and enrolment at Regent College London grants each student full membership to the National Union of Students, along with all the benefits of a National Union of Students (NUS) TOTUM card.
Full support is also provided at the student support centre, which is open Monday to Saturday and offers a number of useful services.
Since Regent College London does not have its own students’ union, they do not have their own network of clubs and societies. However, the central London location means that students are exposed to a variety of activities and opportunities found nowhere else in the world.
No matter which campus a student chooses to study at, they will be living in the heart of the UK’s vibrant capital city.
London is known for its variety of shopping opportunities, and students are spoilt for choice. There is also a world-famous selection of pubs, bars and clubs for students to explore, as well as plenty of opportunities to try foods from cultures around the world at the huge number of restaurants, food stalls and markets across the city.
