GET PROSPECTUSProspective undergraduate students applying for September 2023 entry will need to meet a standard A-level offer target of BBB - BBC, or 120 - 112 UCAS points, in addition to any course-specific entry requirements, which may take the form of specific subjects at A-level, or a portfolio or sample of work.
However, there are many alternative routes to admission and the university policy is to admit candidates who demonstrate the desire and motivation to study, along with the capacity to achieve success. Students who do not achieve the minimum grades, or are projected not to, are encouraged to apply anyway and discuss their options with the university if necessary.

ASK A QUESTIONLiverpool Hope University guarantees accommodation for all first-year students. There are several halls of residence at Hope Park, Creative Campus and Aigburth Park, ensuring that students can be conveniently close to their studies as well as being surrounded by their peers. Each hall has 24 hour security and resident wellbeing officers who can be contacted for advice and guidance.
Weekly rental cost is between £95 and £130, depending on location, which covers all utilities bills, and internet. Contract lengths vary from 38 to 44 weeks, with payment options to give flexibility with organising finances.
Hope Park consists of single rooms with both en-suite and shared bathroom options. The Creative Campus offers en-suite rooms and is located close to the city centre. Aigburth Park offers en-suite and shared facilities and is well serviced by local shops and bars. There are also adapted accommodation options for disabled students. All accommodation is self-catered.
The university has invested £60 million in the past decade on a number of notable facilities, including the Sheppard Worlock Library and Creative Campus Library, which contain more than 309,000 items and online resources, and a £14 million Health Sciences and Sports complex.
The Health Sciences complex features specialist laboratory spaces for nutrition, psychology and sports science, as well as a six-court sports hall, and fully equipped fitness centre with café and lecture theatre, accessible to students for a one-off annual fee of only £25.
The Creative Campus, near the city centre, was renovated in 2018 to include a state-of-the-art arts centre, food court, study space and additional library provision. A new Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Clinic was completed the following year.

Liverpool Hope University has invested heavily in Student Support and Wellbeing services. In February 2016, The Quality Assurance Agency said that Liverpool Hope set a good example in the way it integrates student support services with academic provision.
The Student Support and Wellbeing team offer advice on everything, from financial support to careers advice, disability support and health concerns. The team offer a one-stop service for students to talk about their wellbeing in an integrated way, without passing them between different departments.

The Liverpool Hope Students’ Union (SU) plays a large role in the lives of its student population. As well as being the voice of its students and an approachable and supportive provider of welfare and advice, it also acts as one of the major organisational hubs for clubs and societies, social activities and sporting events.
Sports teams include badminton, football, cricket, and rugby. There is a growing number of social societies such as film, baking, and politics and feminist groups. The university runs a welcome week and many regular events throughout the year, including a summer ball and live music at the SU bar.
The SU works very hard to fairly represent the diverse and multinational community of students at the university. It runs regular forums across both campuses to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in discourse, and also runs Global Hope, an international educational charity which offers opportunities to travel and work to help communities on behalf of LSU.
There is a wide range of clubs and societies to join at Liverpool Hope. Whether a student is interested in arts and culture, performance, baking or politics, there’s always a group to get involved in. Societies tend to meet weekly and may have other organised events throughout the year, giving students a regular opportunity to socialise with like-minded others.
Sports teams include hockey, table tennis, badminton, cheerleading, football, Gaelic football and rugby. Students that take part in sporting clubs may also be able to represent the university in inter-university competition.
The growing number of societies also includes musical theatre, baking, politics and feminist groups, with the option to set up new societies if the demand is there.

The university offer 10 scholarships worth £3,000 per year to those students who meet the widening participation category, with priority given to those who fit into more than one category:

Available to students with talent in dance, drama, music or sport with a portfolio of public performances or have performed at national level. £3,000 is available.

The annual tuition fees for undergraduate students attending Liverpool Hope for 2022/23 are £9,250 per year for UK and EU national students. International students from further afield may have to pay higher fees.
Students do not have to pay these tuition fees themselves if they are unable to. Tuition fee loans are available through the UK government to cover the full cost of fees. These loans are only repayable when students reach a minimum annual salary, and only a percentage of the money made over that threshold is paid back at a time.
