While UCAS Tariff points are used for most of Winchester University’s undergraduate courses, the university admissions team considers each application on an individual basis, and offers a diverse range of pathways to enrolment. ASK A QUESTIONThe University of Winchester offers accommodation options for students both on- and off-campus. All accommodation is conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre.
The university offers different living options to suit a range of budgets and requirements, including campus apartments and family housing for co-habiting couples and students with children. Full-time undergraduate students entering their first year are guaranteed university accommodation subject to certain conditions.
University managed and privately provided accommodation fees range from £3,598 to £10,080 (per annum). A range of fully furnished shared and ensuite facilities are available to students, as well as one and two bed flats. All accommodation include unlimited free WiFi, cleaning services for communal areas, contents insurance, 24 hour security and all utility bills inclusive. Student safety is a number one priority at the university, and if students choose to live on campus there are live-in wardens, on-site assistants and first aiders on hand at all times.
A range of catering packages for students is available, starting from £54.50 a week or £1,689.50 for the length of the full contract. Self-catered rooms start from £3,598 for a shared room and, £5,617 for a single ensuite room (per annum).

Winchester University offers comprehensive support services to its students, offering them a wide range of services to foster both their academic and personal development. The university is dedicated to providing an extremely high level of wellbeing support, scoring highly among student reviewers for the range and quality of its services. Student wellbeing services include dedicated departments for mental wellbeing, student life advice, disability and learning diversity, and health and medical advice. There is a general student advice centre where students can seek free and confidential guidance on a comprehensive range of issues. The centre also provides referrals when more specialised support is required.

International Students fee for undergraduate degrees 2023/24: £14,100 (per annum).
For the academic year 2023/24, part-time fees for undergraduate degrees in the UK are calculated on a pro-rata basis of the full-time fee. With each year of the course made up of 120 credits, the fee for a single credit works out at £77.08 and a 15-credit module is costed at £1,156. Part-time students are able to take up to 90 credits per year and the maximum fee in a given year for part-time study will be the government permitted maximum fee of £6,935. As well as personalising your course through optional modules, you may have the chance to do a work placement during your studies. Developing your professional skills through work placements is a great way to add to your CV and boost your employability.
If you want a job you love (and who doesn't?), getting a job in a field you're passionate about is a great place to start. By studying a subject you really enjoy, you'll be qualified for a range of jobs relating to that subject, which you'll hopefully love.
