The facilities are amazing and very modern and up to date. However, lots of things break/ do not work in the accommodation. The location is great as in the countryside but a 30 minute train into Liverpool city centre.

Good location - only 35 mins by train to Liverpool city centre. Facilities are quite new and have a great look and feel. I’ve found that uni communication is a hit and miss - sometimes they communicate things very well, other times they may not even communicate at all or take a a few days to get back to you. E.g. you don’t find out about events happening on campus until it’s already over or it’s the day of because it may not be that well advertised.

The best aspects of my uni experience has been actually getting hands on with my course and having stimulation rooms available to practice our skills on The worst aspects is that the Manchester campus only has a small library so some books aren’t available however you can order them in from ormskirk but it will take a few days

In my experience, Edge Hill University got it all that a student needs and requires in an appropriate university with a professional as well as friendly environment for both domestic and international students. They are improving their facilities from time to time and adapting to the changing advancements which happen regularly, other than this, their approach towards education is professional in all the aspects of teaching whether it's theoretical or practical, they are doing it in a great way. From facilities to Student life, they are keeping their position up, and implementing everything that needs to be altered on time. They have ready to serve well-being support team as well as on the go student union team who are ready to help any student at any given time, therefore I think they cover all the aspects of being a tremendous university where everyone in the workforce is making regular efforts to be top-notch in the society. Not only this is attracting domestic students more towards the university and the programs they offer, but it also helps in getting the attention of international students from various countries who are continuously showing their interest to study several courses here. The main thing which also matters the most to the student is the location of the university which I personally love, because of being in the serene town of Ormskirk, and nearby to the major cities such as Liverpool and Manchester, it is really easy to experience both vibes according to the mood and we can also make plans to go and spend our weekends anywhere nearby as the university is actually close to many vacation destinations as well. The town offers everything a student needs and nearby cities fulfil the pending party culture which also takes place in the student union parties and clubs in the Ormskirk. There is everything available for the student such as different societies, clubs, and sports teams, and opportunities to become part of any of them. Even students can build their own society here if they cannot find one in their interests. I am happy that I choose the university and also learned a lot by being an International student ambassador, and will continue to help prospective students with the required support and advice.

Edge hill university is a great place to be, the campus is fantastic with a perfect balance between buildings and plant life and a large amount of space to prevent you from feeling over crowded. The facilities at Edge Hill are great, the is a fantastic gym with plenty equipment. The tech hub is full of high quality computers. The catalyst building has a huge library full of books that can help with any course that you choose. Ormskirk is a really good location with plenty of choices of places to eat or go shopping for any essentials. Student support is great and very useful if you are struggling with adapting to uni life or anything to do with the course. With all this considered I'm not surprised that there is a large number of people who want to go to this university.
