GET PROSPECTUSThere are many different levels of qualification at Manchester Met, and a huge range of subjects to choose from. Exact course requisites vary on a subject-by-subject basis, and it is recommended that prospective students check the admission requirements on the university website for their chosen course before making an application.
Manchester Met typically makes an offer based on the UCAS point tariff system. Students who are aiming to study for an honours degree will usually need to be studying three A-levels or acceptable alternatives e.g., Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (1080). Students aiming to study a degree with a Foundation Year will typically need to complete two A-levels, or an accepted equivalent. Full information is available through the Manchester Met website.
Students for whom English is not their first language will also need to demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency before the start of their course. Applicants must achieve IELTS 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in any component, and some courses may require even higher scores than this, so it is encouraged to check the subject-specific course pages fully.

Manchester Met provides a comprehensive hub of specialist services to help students achieve their highest potential. Whether it’s a big question, a nagging problem or admin issues, their award-winning student hubs are the places to go for advice. The university’s study skills team offer advice and group workshops to help with academic writing and numeracy, and specific learning difficulties.
Digital hubs provide online information and answers to hundreds of frequently asked questions. If students can’t find what they're looking for, they can submit an online enquiry, phone the university helpline, or go to one of the student hubs to chat with a friendly adviser.
The counselling, mental health and wellbeing service offer support via one-to-one appointments, group workshops on topics like relaxation, stress and confidence, as well as access to the university’s online platform ‘Together all’ which is available 24/7.

One such award is the student support package, which is a bursary for new, full-time, first-year undergraduate students. To be eligible applicants must come from the UK and from a household with an income of £25,000 or less. 2023/24 entry (full-time) - £9,250 per year
2023/24 entry (part-time) - £2,312.50 per 30 credits studied per year
Standard undergraduate course tuition fees for International students, in the 2023/24 academic year are normally set between £17,000 and £18,500.
