GET PROSPECTUSEntry requirements vary on a course-by-course basis and the admissions team considers all applications on an individual basis. There are many alternative pathways to enrolment, and prospective students are encouraged to visit the university website to find more detailed information about the admission requirements of their chosen course.
Typical entry requirements are given based on two to three GCE A Level passes with specific grades, or equivalent. Students using different assessment methods can find grade comparison information on the university website, or contact the admissions team for more details.

LSBU is committed to providing support and guidance needed for its students to succeed and ensures that the transition into university life is as smooth and productive as possible.
The university’s Student Life Centre is the central hub for LSBU’s students services, and is run by the Skills for Learning Team, who organise a yearly programme of workshops and events to help students progress with their academic development. LSBU organises a huge program of activities and events for new and returning students to participate in. The university runs over 20 competitive sports clubs, who compete in Varsity competitions with other London universities, and nationally in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues.

Havering is a warm, welcoming and friendly campus environment. The campus offers adult nursing and mental health nursing courses. Courses are accredited by or designed in collaboration with employers, which means that course content remains up to date with industry developments and ensures a smooth transition into a new career.
The university has a highly effective Employability Service, to help support students find job opportunities and improve career prospects, including free services to enhance CV and work skills, offering workshops, 1-1 appointments, events such as careers fairs and a managed temporary vacancy service. The university is committed to ensuring that education should be accessible to any student who has the motivation and desire to succeed on one of their degree courses, and provides a wide range of support options, to make sure that students have the financial security to focus on their university work.
From scholarship awards to loans, discounts and bursaries, there are many options available, as well as personalised fee payment structures and access to external loans and grants.
New full-time Home students from lower-income families are encouraged to visit the university website to check eligibility for one of LSBU’s Access Bursaries, valued at £1,000.
Students who demonstrate exceptional sporting potential can access a bursary worth up to £1,500, designed to help them balance their academic and sporting lives.
Full time undergraduate students at LSBU from a black or minority ethnic background will be able to apply for £10,000 in financial support if they are on a BSc in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying.
Full-time fees for Home undergraduate students are set at £9,250 per year. Home students can get a tuition fee loan from the Student Loans Company, and do not have to submit full payment of fees up front.
A tuition fee loan is also available to Home students on part-time courses, provided that the course is the student’s first degree, and that at least 25% of the course is completed in one year.

You'll be shocked by the number of clubs and societies on offer at London South Bank University. There's something for everyone! As well as being able to pick different clubs and societies, most courses let you choose modules at different points through your degree.
As well as personalising your course through optional modules, you may have the chance to do a work placement during your studies. Developing your professional skills through work placements is a great way to add to your CV and boost your employability.
If you want a job you love (and who doesn't?), getting a job in a field you're passionate about is a great place to start. By studying a subject you really enjoy, you'll be qualified for a range of jobs relating to that subject, which you'll hopefully love.
For those who aren't ready to give up on education after an undergraduate degree, you'll have the opportunity to progress to postgraduate study such as a master's or even a PhD.
