UEA is an amazing university, the trees, the proximity to the lake, and the greenness of the campus make it really nice, and light up the mood. The teaching is great, and we know we can ask support if we need to.
Everything is perfect, more effective than what I'm used to!
This accommodation is on the campus, you can't be closer to your lectures! The room are really nice, just a bit expensive for what it is.
Lots of support and the diversity here is great lots of clubs and societies the downfall the university industrial and prices are too high in cafes or campus shop
Sometimes the lectures can be abit bland or the lecturers go too fast and have this one time voice however the mixture of online and in person helps a lot I like how technology is utilised in this university compared to others sticking to old fashion.
There things to do in town but other than that nothing else Norwich needs to add more things into the city plus the connection is terrible can’t get data connection anywhere and when I do not very strong implant more data towers
The radiators were in the worst position placed under the desk during winter it was freezing because the radiators would only warm the desk not the actual room and the vent at the top was open the whole time blowing cold air into the room which didn’t help other than that a nice room with plenty of space
it is a great place to study due to the on hand methods used by staff to improve student mental health and overall university experience.

it’s not really worth the amount charged per week
Great support and really nice campus that feels safe. Could have more opportunities for work experience, internships etc, with more help to find these opportunities.
The course is taught in varieties of ways which I really like (online, lectures, seminars, workshops etc). Course hours are easy to handle and everything is accessible with time gaps etc. Contact with lecturers could be better and how often you can contact your advisor should be increased - for me I can only see my advisor in a space of one hour on Monday mornings which I don’t think is great. The course is really interesting though and I find that they are really helping us in first year to work out how to write essays, reports etc and how to navigate note taking in lectures.
I love how modern it is and there’s lots of space for storage in my room. The kitchen has got great appliances which we have never had a problem with. It feels really safe with many checks happening and you cannot get in to the building without your campus card. The layout is amazing with ways to be able to make more friends outside of your flat. My only issue is that the wifi cuts out constantly which really makes me anxious and causes issues with me trying to join online workshops and do my studying.
Interesting course however ugly campus
Informative lectures, very long sessions however
The UEA is a great university! The campus is in a brilliant and safe location in Norfolk, Norwich. They always have events going on and offer amazing student support. I feel like I am really listed to at university. When feedback is given, the university takes it on and changed for the better. This continuum is great to see as a student; it shows how committed the university is to listening to their students and making change to fit their students needs. The campus is beautiful and isn’t very far from the city centre. It also has good travel routes that are cheap! I am glad I chose the UEA, I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my 3 years anywhere else. I will be sad to leave next summer. If I ever decide to do further studies, I will definitely be going back to the UEA!
The BSc Adult Nursing course is just amazing! The lecturers are fabulous and are so knowledgeable. I feel safe when talking to them if I’m unsure on anything or if I have concerns. They are so supportive! The course content itself is really interesting and I feel myself becoming more prepared and confident in being a registered nurse. The course is taught extremely well. As part of the course, you have to undertake placements. Placements are a great insight into what you want or don’t want to do. I have recently found my love for nursing in a particular speciality and I am so excited to venture into this career path. The university is great with helping students reach their career aspirations!
Amazing wildlife and natural spaces. Changing building work makes navigation difficult as different paths closed but this can’t be helped. Some classrooms and chairs ect feel very dated
Can’t fault the tutors and the support really they have been incredible and supportive. Easy to contact while on placement
Norwich is amazing with so many opportunities for nature escapes, shopping and employment with great links
This university is perfect for people that want a sense of independence and community, the student life is amazing, the facilities outstanding. The staff, and other students very welcoming, making this feel like a home
Best aspects include the content that we study on the course, really enjoying the history aspect of Film, There aren’t really any bad parts but would like it if they talked a bit more about career opportunities
Love the location, easy to walk and find every, very close to medical facilities and laundrette. Roommates are so friendly Don’t have any complaints with the hall
I enjoy the location, but it can be far away from city centre! I've heard a mixed view of the student support, with an okay experience myself. I also feel like whilst the facilities and union are good, the actual buildings could be updated.
the most helpful staff and I find all the content super interesting! I do have placements for next year, and am worried about finding them myself.
the community is lovely. no idea of specific improvements just work on every little aspect.
it’s a good course, lecturers are engaging with students with passion
brilliant place, lovely community
