Everything is great regarding this
Ok
Campus is well planned out with everything at walking distance. Facilities are always available, and clean. Always something to do on campus and everything is beginner friendly.
Some teaching methods I do not agree with. But the tutors and TAs are super helpful.
Great location, weekly cleaning which is exceptionally done. The rooms are more spacious than the newer builds. Theres been some issues with the light bulbs in my room but they were fixed within reasonable time.
Main issue is communication within various departments specifically through email. There’s a very big lack of replying specifically with housing, volunteering, medical, and other departments.
Horrible scheduling, did not get final timetable till halfway through the first term. No expectations were given to us about what is expected during class.
Not what was promised from website.
A lot of things are great, really want to say, the supermarket will be a little more expensive than outside, if there is a free basketball court(hahaha)
I think it is good!
nothing
Some of the old stoves have a little less firepower and can be replaced, if we can better consider our inclination to the better!
I think from the day i came here is the best experience of life. such a huge campus with all the amenities and helpful staff everywhere. The welcome week was very informative and enjoyable. Loved everything there.
Its an in class course which is the best thing, teaching hours could be more if possible will be a great help. Lecturers are very good, helpful, available whenever needed. Best lecturer’s
good hall, bed are very small, maintanance works take a lot of time.
Its a scam A total rip off. This university provides you everything except education.
The course is a joke and insult to the civil engineering field
Good support systems, just wish there was more student social life
Good facilities and systems
Good facilities and cleaning services. Planon is sometimes unreliable.
Brunel University is really great place to pursue our education because University is committed to Academic Excellence and we can see the evidence through dedicated faculty that helps us (students)with whatever queries or doubts we have . Also University's Modern and we'll equipped facilities Such as libraries and laboratories ,fantastic food options like izzis pizza, locos and also I love the efforts of University in our extra curriculum activities like volunteer activities, workshops by PDC to improve our skillset, graduate job applications its just fantastic,Clubs for different societies and also the location is also great as it's in London we can have access to soo many internship opportunities or networking events It's not too far from our university Recommendations for Improvement When I arrived here on 1st Day I was carrying 2 big bags (23 kgs) And one 8 kg shoulder bag and my hall is very far from the sports centre(I collected my room key near the IAC) And I asked soo many ambassadors to help me in carrying my bag to the hall but no one did So it was really a bad experience for me It would be better if University can 1.arrange some facilities to help students who live very far in campus for example isambard complex As for Me it was very far and also i was new so I really didn't knew the way properly And I would be very grateful if Brunel consider expanding 2.FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ITS STUDENTS like scholarship based on our extracurricular, how active we are in university ,what we are doing to improve our self and also for the University It can be so beneficial and helpful for soo many students who are struggling financially. 3.More internship opportunities in campus and Job placement opportunities 4.And I would be grateful if University can start stress management sessions Such as Yoga ,Dance, meditation (for free😂)to calm and relax our mind as we all are going through something and these activities can really be helpful for most of the people to feel happy and relaxed and calm our mind. I hope my words will not hurt anyone I loveee Brunel University London and I would be grateful if University can improve these little things to make students life more memorable
The MSc in Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing offers an exceptional blend of knowledge and skills that are highly relevant in today's digitalized business landscape. One of the best aspects of this course is its up-to-date curriculum and practical orientation. We are able to gain a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, data analytics, and business intelligence. This knowledge equips us with the tools to navigate the fast-paced world of online marketing and data-driven decision-making, which is invaluable in today's competitive job market. Another significant advantage is the hands-on experience provided in the course. Many modules like BI and SM ,Digital Marketing offer real-world projects, allowing us to apply their learning to practical scenarios. These opportunities to work on live projects and analyze real data provide a strong foundation for a successful career in digital marketing and business intelligence. Worst However The MSc in Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing can be demanding, as it requires a good grasp of data analysis and marketing concepts. For students like me without a background in these fields, the learning curve can be steep. Therefore, one of the more challenging aspects of this course is the initial complexity and the need for dedication to catch up with the subject matter. Additionally, the fast-paced nature of the digital marketing industry means that coursework and assignments can sometimes be intense, with tight deadlines. Managing time effectively and staying up-to-date with evolving industry trends can be demanding. Furthermore, i am actually finding it little hard specially (Business intelligence) Module's workload and assessments . It would be easy if we can have a little workshop on how to do assessment step by step for every module as in India in our bachelors we never used to do this kind of assessments so it's really hard to do In summary, the MSc in Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing offers valuable knowledge and practical skills for today's digital business world. The best aspects include its relevance and practical orientation. However, the challenging aspects may involve the initial learning curve and the demanding workload, especially for those without prior experience in the field. Ultimately, the course's value and benefits outweigh its challenges for those passionate about digital marketing and business intelligence.
I think the accommodation options provided by university are generally very good (according to the location) and competitive compared to private rentals in the area The cost includes utilities making it easier for students to budget and also the biggest advantage is the living on campus and it also saves time and money on travelling expenses. I think there is some room for Improvement in Halls like accommodations are good no doubt in that but I think it does not offer the same level of modern facilities like The lack of drovers in closet ,and also the lack of fitness facilities like gyms or workout rooms within the halls and also I think the bathroom is too small for specially for girls as we need more space and lastly we have to pay for laundry separately it would be easy and more affordable if University can include the cost of laundry in our rent so we dont have to spend this also Overall I love the university accommodation 😊
I like that Brunel offers a wide range of programs in various fields, including engineering, business, and social sciences, with a reputation for quality education, and that the university maintains strong links with industry, facilitating internships and job placements for students. Ways that I believe it could be improved is to regularly review and update academic programs to stay relevant in an ever-changing job market. And foster sustainability efforts on campus and promote environmental awareness.
The best aspect of my course is that there are well read, articulate, and highly qualified professors and lecturers, they’re considerate when it comes to establishing a rapport with the students and gauging when to slow down. The worst aspect are online classes, I find it very hard when the only option for certain classes is online, since it’s difficult to focus and interact with the professor.
What I like about the halls are that we’ve been provided all facilities and amenities, hot running water and clean kitchens. What I dislike about the halls is the exorbitant amounts of money it takes to live in the halls. It proves to be extremely expensive for international students that in 95% of cases already struggle with finances due to the devaluation of their currencies.
Brunel is a great place to study and live in because it has a mix of knowledgeable professors, diverse courses, and engaging learning environments and many cultural events which make international students feel like they’re in their home. Improvements could focus on enhancing resources, fostering more interactive learning, and providing additional support for students.
It’s fine
Everything is fine
