Founded back in 1894, Myerscough College and University Centre has grown to become one of the UK’s largest providers of specialist education and training for land-based and sports industries. It offers undergraduate degrees in over 20 different subject areas, including agriculture, animal studies, equine studies, horticulture, motorsports, and sport. The college and university centre will be celebrating its 130th Anniversary in 2024. Around 6,000 students are enrolled at the college, around 2,000 of which are part-time students, and around 1,000 of which study for higher education qualifications. The college is an Associate School of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), one of the largest and most dynamic universities in the UK, and Myerscough students can benefit from having access to UCLan’s wide range of student facilities and support.
