Animal Care Training Centre is great, there’s so many species to work with that you might not have expected as well as the theatre for observing surgeries. There’s also the farm for working with the cows and sheep as well as stables for the horses. Everything you’d need!

Student Association are very lovely, they try their best to get everyone involved and make sure we have our voices heard.

If living on campus you’ll be a bit out of Dumfries as the campus is more out in the countryside but a fairly short drive or buses are available into the centre of Dumfries so not too much of a worry.

Lecturers are really friendly and approachable - they always make it known that if you have any questions outside of lectures to give them a message on teams and they’re always happy to respond and help you out!

In veterinary nursing specifically, you’re practically 100% guaranteed to get a job after graduation. 3rd year is a whole year of work placement in a veterinary training placement and you’re sure to learn practical skills in the animal care training centre on campus.

Terrible. University is dirty and lecure rooms have been produced as cheapas possible with tiny seats and over crowded rooms

No support. The only people who receive help are those who shout the loudest. Lecturers don't have any time for students. Don't care if they understand information
