Uni is what you make of it, so take advantage of all the new experiences that it has to offer. I think it’s a really great experience to come to uni at all so I would encourage anyone wondering whether to do it to go for it, you’ll regret it more if you don’t. They say you make friends for life here, and although I’ve only been here for a semester, I certainly think that’s the case. Manchester is amazing, truly unique as a city.

Although I didn’t realise how much maths there would be involved in my course, I’ve really enjoyed it so far and the people on my course are really cool, particularly the netball team! Getting involved in sports has been a really good idea as it saves money on going to the gym and you get to meet new people and make new friends, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to come to Manchester, or any uni in fact.
