Honesty the best aspect is the city, you won’t find a better place to study and live. There’s always something to do whether that be outside or in the uni. Everything is so close together because of the metro, it’s great. The not so great aspects is that some of the staff have not been keeping to the timetables that were decided on before you start the course/ next year of your studies. However I have been assured that the people higher up are seeing to this issue and I have already seen a change in the past couple weeks. So hopefully this won’t be for too long. Newcastle university is the place to be and if you’re not able to come here but want to come to Newcastle, Northumbria university is literally across the road and they’re also great.

We have blended learning. The course hours are long outside of the actual timetabled hours. Yes it’s hard work but it’s definitely worth it. If you are able to manage your time well it won’t be too strenuous really. If you’re worried you can always apply for a PEC or extension and they’re pretty good with accepting those applications.

The freedom to design and create our own ideas is the best thing about this course - this helps us to understand things better and boosts our confidence. For our department, the facilities are multi-functional but there are still things that need to be improved.
