I came from Somerset to the University of Hertfordshire as it was an ideal location near London. This was a great decision as I’ve managed to spend a lot of time in London and Hertfordshire is a great county. Saying that, Hatfield is a poor town with very little for students. But due to the great transport links and the fact that it’s a campus uni, this hasn’t bothered me too much. I would definitely advise becoming a student ambassador, that’s the best thing I’ve done at the uni, and get involved with as much as can because you’ll regret anything you didn’t do!

Uni is very good as a whole. My course is OK but some modules haven’t been good because of the lecturers and lack of support. Only in uni one day a week for 20 weeks a year and I’m paying £9,000.. really?! Some course are really good and the LRC is excellent and campus (de Hav) is in a good location and very, very nice. There’s a great gym in the Sports Village and I like the rock climbing wall!
