The University of Leeds is a massive university with great societies and facilities. It is based right in the middle of Leeds which makes it easy to get to from all areas of Leeds. One of Leeds biggest plus points are its student areas which are hyde park and Headingley which are both buzzing student communities which really make Leeds feel like your home. The biggest downfall Leeds had for me were the halls I stayed in, in my first year. I stayed in Leodis Halls which are a short walk from the campus and are very close to the city centre, although the facilities in the halls were good, it was very expensive and not very social at all. Having spent a lot of time in Boddington I found this a much better place to enjoy your first year of Uni as they have a lot of socials, events and a great sense of community. Overall Leeds is a great place to study and is a very friendly city with a cracking nightlife. I would never put any one off studying at Leeds.

The best aspect of my university experience is literally everything ranging from well equipped library to the best faculties if we talk about academics. Other than that the socials, the student support for every tiny problem, some really amazing societies which is a great way to network. Not just this, the skill enhancement sessions, mock interviews, career service team, all of this has greatly contributed in my growth both personally and professionally. Needless to mention, the beautiful architecture of the university leaves me mesmerized. I couldn't think of any worst aspects of the university as such. The worst I can think of is not wanting to leave the university, haha! Nevertheless, the only thing I want to reflect upon is that me being a law student I couldn't book the one on one appointment with the career service team specifically responsible for law. That could be just one area I think needs attention so that the law students can make the most of it.

My course is taught offline. We are required to take both the lectures and seminars for different modules. My course hours are very favourable. It gives me enough time to go through all the readings and is not overburdening. The seminars help us give our opinion on certain topics and learn from others in our batch. I would say it is in a blended learning because we get the readings online on Minerva. Additionally, we even have access to the recorded lectures that helps us to refer again to what the professor discussed in the lecture. The professors are really kind and take our questions or doubts/queries related to our subject by way of support hours. This is done for every module.
