I have loved University so far! All the staff have been really supportive and friendly which has helped me settle in. I also like the University itself as it is set out well and everything is easy to find. I have made some lovely friends as well.

Very good, although there are not enough toilets!

My tutors are all really supportive and couldn't ask for more! My tutor has always been supportive with anything I need. There are lots of facillities where I can book tutor feedback, although I haven't needed to yet

I am working in the university shop as it is flexible hours and good pay

Newport is a nice place to live as everything is on your doorstep!

A pain because they are all over in Treforest and it is over £11 for a return train journey with a railcard so it is expensive. We do have a netball team, however, where I have made many new friends and get to play my favourite sport! I have also joined the local Pure Gym, along with many of my friends.

I like the variety of lessons and how we have small blocks of them then a break. I don't like the numeracy skills for teaching lesson as the tutor isn't very good so I don't feel I am learning anything so it is a waste of a 2 hours where I could be working.

My university helps me with employability in numerous ways. I was able to talk to someone from the business department about starting a business for my teaching and she pointed me in the right directions and offered me help. I also know I can talk to my course leaders about placements, and can book appointments online for help with money advice, job advice etc.

Our accommodation is really nice. All the staff are super friendly! I get on really well with my flatmates, which is a bonus. The facilities are great and the common room is an area where I have made so many new friends! They have a good system for collecting post. I was settled in and felt at home 2 hours after I moved in! I went home for a weekend and couldn't wait to come back!!
