Cheltenham is a lovely town with loads to offer shops, bars, restaurants, mini golf, bowling, cinema, trampoline park, parks, hikes, bouldering and many more. It could be improved by having more facilities and more including in the fees like other unis do.

The lectures are so supportive, informative, answer emails quickly. Good about of hours a week on each module.

Best halls you could ask for but sadly got sold after I lived in them

Personally for me lecturers are the main indicator of the quality of the studies. Interior design course is really lucky and proud to have two amazing lecturers. They are extremely supportive, inspirational and challenging us to push our limits, which helps us to develop our skills and learn. Secondly, as I started living in shared accommodation since the beginning of the first year, my experience in the University was not typical. Although, if I wanted to join any activities, societies, work within the University, volunteer or in any other ways get involved, there were plenty of options and I was aware of the opportunities. I actually took a part in many activities and all of them were well planned out, whether it was a trip to a different city with an International society, or applying to become a student ambassador, everything was made clear and exciting. As I am not from the UK, it was really important to me all the way through my studies, and I have no regrets for choosing this University, just a great appreciation.

I think we do have enough of contact hours. Reaching out to the lecturers is not difficult, as they are very responsive and makes us a priority, which really helps to move forward. As my course is more practical, most of the time during the lecture time we focus on progressing our projects, sometimes have group work, brainstorming, discussing and sharing ideas.
