Bangor is a great place to study, the lecturers have a depth of knowledge and experience ready to give you the best education and chance at succeeding not only your degree but also the career you choose afterwards. There are plenty of study halls to choose from when you have gaps in your lecturers for independent study as well as cafes if you wanted to grab something to eat and study. Everyone is lovely and so welcoming.

The best part about the course is the placements. Bangor choose the best placements for you to put into practice all the theory that you have learnt in class. You feel fully prepared for your placement and the contact from the university once you are out on placement I found didn't change. They are always so supportive from the very first interview and are always there to talk to whether that be virtually or in person. I did find that the year we did online was very busy in first semester but then after Christmas we had lots of free time. This did work well for me however it felt very pointless however once we were back in person in second year I have not found that to be the case at all. Course hours are great, I have always had a great work/life balance because they give good independent study time within the course timetable. Lecturers are always there to speak to you even if you don't have an appointment, they will find the time to help and support. I have had amazing tutors and after a hard couple of years personally I always found that the lecturers were there to speak to about worries or needing advice with work/assignments

I love the fact that you have the best of every world... the sea, the mountains and the city life. There is always something to do and things to see. It has lots of places to eat and bars. There are 2 nightclubs that have themed nights as well as general student nights. The campus has bars on that serve great food as well as being great meet up spots or pre drink areas. They always hold different events such as bingo and karaoke. Supermarkets are on the door step as well as great clothe shops and with a main gym on campus and more off site there is literally something here for everyone.

Great value for money, what you pay for is not just your room, you pay for wifi, security and a 7 day gym. The rooms are of a good size. Large kitchens that get cleaned weekly and common rooms on site which provide a good social seating. Car parking is available and an on site laundrette.

My university experience so far has been amazing. I am in my second year of university and am really enjoying it. I have had many challenges this year, but with help and support I am working through them.

We have two library’s which have many resources and provide quiet places to do work and assignments. There are plenty of computers to do research on and many places to sit with friends to work on group work.

I think we have amazing support here from the university, both academically and personally. On my course we have amazing tutors (lecturers) that we can discuss the course with and any concerns we may have. There are other places that we can go for personal, emotional and academic support for. Study skills sessions are run to help with assignments and sessions are run to help with anxieties and stress.

I think the Students’ Union is very good. We are updated regularly on many things here in Bangor. The facilities we have are also good, with sports facilities and much more.

The university is situated many amenities, from supermarkets and clothes shops to restaurants and takeout places. The accommodation is close to the amenities too

The variety of societies and sports at the university is amazing. We have around 170 to choose from, ranging from Rugby society to the Disney society. There are many things for everyone.

I like that our lecturers are very communicative and that we are able to participate. We also have chance to work together with our follow course mates. I think some lectures can be repetitive which means we hear the same thing over again. However, in some cases they’re there to inform us about certain things.

The university provides talks on employability and have many options extra curricular things to do. We have a department that you can go to, to talk about CV’s, placements and possibly volunteering.

Bangor is great for safety onsite the university halls. The halls they provide are very clean and situated within walking distance of many amenities. The price of halls for what we get is very good. We have cleaners come in, clean and collect rubbish throughout the week in communal areas.
