The facilities are great. You get free access to JSTOR, BibliU, Microsoft and more, and the library is good for studying as you get a quiet area and a silent area and an area where you get to work with your friends. As far as the location, it is good, however, Coventry is not known for being the safest city. In fact, it is in the top ten of the most dangerous cities in the UK. I was in need of support, and my professors and tutors were supportive. They also have links to charities so you can easily have access to them, which is good. There are so many cool places to hang out on campus. The Hub is great for friends, and there’s a food area where they cook delicious meals. Student life is exceptional. If you join a sports team, you can join them in socials every Wednesday at a pub, followed by a night out in a club. There are many good clubs in Coventry that do a lot of nights for students. Also, there is Varsity, a sporting event where Coventry goes against Warwick, which is really good.

If you want to study English Literature, then this university is for you. This university is amazing for people who wish to study English Literature, as you get to study a wide range of texts by women authors, black authors, LGBTQ+ authors and more, and you get to study books that cover a wide range of topics that you have never studied at A Level. I cannot review internships and work placements as I don’t have any experience, but the department has been supportive and are willing to set up any meetings if you were ever interested. The teaching quality is great, as they always make it easier to understand, and are willing to take any questions. The career prospects are great. As it is an English degree, you can have access to a wide range of jobs in the future. The tutor contact time is amazing, as you can email them anytime and they will respond to you lightening fast. The subject facilities are awesome, as you het access to journal sites and apps for free.

Coventry is not safe at all. The cost of living is fairly cheap, which is really nice. Public transport is great, but be wary of Stagecoach. It’s kind of hard to get part time jobs as a lot of people want experienced workers, and if you’re not experienced, there are warehouse jobs but they always hire people who can work full time. The graduate opportunities are awesome as the Talent Team will arrange meetings and workshops with you and employees. There is so much diversity, as there are a number of races and LGBTQ+ people around the university.

It’s not safe. Best to avoid. This area is also located in Gosford. Gosford is the worst area in the UK. The room allocation is great. I was in the sixth floor, so the view is not too bad. The internet is great, as it is fast and easy to log on to. The rooms are a good price and they are in a good state, so it is valued for money. The property management is great, but they are always building something.

I chose coventy because of the great english course it provided and the flexibility of the modules. Also it it not too big a city but has easy access to big cities and the campus is in a great location for all the amenities of the city.
