I was hesitant to begin with but have found that uni has developed my love of education. I have made some good friends and enjoy my course a lot. Uni life is very different from my home life and has given me something to look forward to which sixth form didn’t.

yes as a city university everything is conveniently located and it’s easy to shop on the way home from lectures.

I have completely enjoyed it! It has been an incredible experience! Being an independent student has taught me so much about living alone, and i have learn so much throughout these past months while completing me degree

Incredible. They have up to date software and machines they we have the availability to use freely.

We each have a personal tutor that we are feee to contact and there are also otjer methos of councilling available to us.

The student's union always tries to keep up to date with the students and what they are up to and what types of things are going on in our news. The facilities are ever changing to adapt to what studets would prefer. They hold lots of talks and get-togethers for all types of students. The representatives are voted in by us as studets because we want so choose our own voices.

Portsmouth is a university campus so one can walk whenever they need to in around 20 mins. There is a co op near both my uni building and accommodation. There is then a train station and the city centre is a 5 minute walk from my uni campus, supermarkets are between a 10 and 15 minute walk depending on which one you wish to go to.

There are so many societies and spory associations that are part of the university, and the union is always open to creating more!

I most enjoy the real life projects that we have the opportunity to be a part of it and i dislike the group work and assessments we sometimes have.

At my university we have the opportunity to take placements between 2nd and 3rd year. We have a creative career service that help us with our CVs and applications in 1-2-1 meetings. They also advertise placements that we can apply for. They also employ students that have just returned from placement year so we can chat to them. In my degree we also have mock interviews with companies and they have the possibility to offer us jobs. We then also have graduate and placement fairs and then also another building with staff purely to help us dind jobs and give us mock interviews, ect.
