There's been ups and downs, but I'm incredibly glad that I came to Swansea University. It has helped me grow professionally, academically, and as a person. I've never looked back.

Amazing. Across 2 campuses, there is a vast array of different PC Labs, libraries, Fitness and wellbeing centres, etc.

Both are great. Staff are incredibly friendly and supportive, both academically and personally. There's a firm sense of actually being able to engage with staff as people; academic feedback is usally quick; counselling is easily available etc.

The Student Union is mazing, and is very prevalent throughout student life. From the many, MANY different student nights throughout the week, to the Student Bars and events. They provide a lot of visible support to the various Societies, and are great when it comes to managing Student Wellbeing.

Swansea City life is not the most vibrant, as it's fair small city. However, there is a firm local spirit and the University brings it's own aspects of city life (e.g. Student nights and discounts) which make it overall quite enjoyable

Incredibly fun and varied. If you can think of a hobby, there's probably a society that covers it. And if not, it's fairly simple to make one yourself

I like most that Swansea is quite comprehensive in it's teaching; if there's an aspect of Computer Science there's usually a module, competition or Society session covering it. However it's not always possible to attend every such session. I like least the fact that lecture pacing can be sometimes slow (though it tends to pick-up as the term carries on)

They have loads of different ongoing programs like the Swansea Employability Award; different helplines for finding internships and year industries, and even helps you as a graduate to prepare for working life

I really love the university. I could not expect anything better. The only thing that I really dislike is the city - Swansea is bland and boring. If you love living in a big city (like me) this city is not for you. However, if you don't care about that, give Swansea Uni a chance! The university is incredible.

I study at Bay Campus and the facilities are wonderful! The campus is brand new. I couldn't expect better. Everything is super modern. I have studied before in a university in Lithuania and this is way better than any University I have ever seen.

The students' union represents the students' very well. We are always welcome to submit our suggestions on what we want to change at the University. They have also opened a zero - waste and vegan shops on one of the campuses and we are able to choose vegans options in the cafeteria. This is extremely important to me as I am vegan.

Yes. My University is only around 15 minutes away by bus. :) There are a few different bus lines going every 10 minutes straight to my campus.

Very good. There are a lot of societies for people interested in different topics.

I love the lecturers - they are supportive, friendly and communicative. I love the course content - It is extremely relevant to the problems we currently face in real life. I am not happy with some lecturers not uploading their lectures on blackboard - I think this should be mandatory for all the lecturers. Besides that, I think that the blackboard and intranet should be updated to current standards.

We have a lot of career events as well as the Swansea Employability Academy which helps us to find internship opportunities.
