University of leeds has a-lot of support for students and it has a lot of society and clubs to join. I would recommend anyone to university of leeds

Lectures are understandable and easy to learn from

the workload is definitely a lot- if you can’t manage your time it will be very stressful that being said the lecturers are generally great! pity the uni won’t pay them so they have to strike leeds is an amazing city though!!!! the nightlife is insane and there’s plenty cool places

not a fan of some modules still being online- in my opinion we should have the opportunity to learn in person by now. there isn’t as much cohesion across modules as i would like. different modules are taught and set out very differently and this can make the course inaccessible to neurodivergent folk

halls were an incredibly social experience, the freshers events were great and I met tons of people just by leaving my flat and going outside the facilities were fine and perfectly liveable- the rooms in a flat were different sizes though so your room size was down to luck of what you were allocated. the green space between blocks of flats was nice- benches and grass and trees made city life better one bathroom between 5 was manageable because of the separate locking shower and toilet cubicles in the main bathroom no sofas or living rooms though, the doors always broke, gates were always open and it was pretty loud some weekends. the hobs weren’t great but it was decent value for money
