Best aspect of the uni experience is definitely the social aspect. Being able to meet new people and attend various events spices up everyday life. Most aspects of uni aren't that bad and are actually fairly enjoyable, however I'm not too fond of the location because it requires you to take at least 1 bus to get to the nearest shops which can take around 15-20 minutes minimum. The location can also be a pro because it means it's not too noisy thanks to vehicles at night. In terms of improving uni, I can't think of too many things but I'd say to somewhat improve on-campus accommodations when it comes to laundry because doing laundry is a bit of a nightmare considering the low number of machines vs the large number of residents in one hall. Other than that, uni experience has been amazing so far.

My course modules have been very good so far, every lecturer and tutor have been doing pretty well teaching and I haven't really run into much problems regarding learning the content within each module. One of the only complaints I'd have about some modules so far are the lack of online classes as some classes could start as early as 9am and if you do not live on campus then this means you'd need to sometimes wake up as early as 6-7am just to attend it. Another problem is the potential for huge gaps between lectures. If you live on campus then it's not too much of a problem but if you don't then you could see yourself being stuck at campus for hours just doing nothing because you live too far to go back home and get back onto campus in time. Other than that, I've had good experiences regarding lecturer contacting etc

The best aspect about the hall is probably the location. It's right next to Christina Miller which makes it easy to collect parcels whenever I have any to collect, plus it's not too far from the major locations on campus, i.e. lecture halls, shops etc. and only takes around 5 minutes to walk to the main campus. The worst aspects about the hall are the laundry experience, value for money and the wifi to an extent. Doing laundry is pretty bad sometimes because there are only 6 machines and there are at least 60+ people in the hall, so having to wait to do laundry can be a nightmare. Additionally, the app to work with the machines is awful. The rooms are okay but it's definitely not worth nearly £700/m. I could find rooms that look way more furnished and overall better for that kind of price or lower. Lastly, the wifi is about a 6-7/10. It's good for scrolling social media or watching Youtube for example but it's not the best for playing video games with. Sometimes you could experience multiple hiccups with connectivity whilst playing.

There needs to be prayer rooms in every floor for easy accessibility in between classes. The events organized by the student union has a lot of potential to be improved in terms of communication and inclusivity. Most of the events cater to people with an extroverted nature and even those are not that great. The university curriculum is really good and makes the studies interesting. Most of the professors I have had so far were great.
