Very good, much better than i thought it would be, very much like the accommodation and facilities as well as teaching. Everyone is friendly and willing to help especially the staff

There is not a soul I wouldn't recommend Northumbria to. I hope it stays as great as it is for the foreseeable future. My experience with the university has been unforgettable.

First class

The university operates an open door policy, meaning support is on demand making academic life less stressful.

I am involved in the students union. I have been told the committee on physics society is too masculine and I have been instructed to include more women. I fully support having women on the committee and have personally invited many to join, however with little success. Women just dont seem interested in running physics society, which is fine. I dont think the students union or any staff should demand representation. I hope they do not abuse their power to do any politically motivated damage.

City life is almost like it was purposefully made for students. Its perfect.

I love the clubs and societies at Northumbria, the people that run them are second to none. Great people.

The course is pitched at the right level and is reliable, being accredited by the Institute of Physics. I dislike some of the political biases seeping into the university. It is clear from some of the posts from the students union this month (being black history month) there is a political bias (i can give examples on request?). Hopefully this ends at the students union and does not seep into the social sciences.

The university offers many options for students looking to seek information regarding jobs. Placement faires are a good way for students to seek information or become inspired by fellow students to engage in a professional environment. The university posts jobs and advertises jobs through emails. The university staff are helpful making sure the students are aware of opportunities by notifying students on blackboard, and offering advice on interviews and projects. There are many more examples the university makes every effort for students.
