The University of Pymouth was the right choice for me. The library is open 24/7 and has different floors with different helpful facilities for students, such as career support and a writing café on the first floor. There's bookable study rooms that are easy to access, but I do wish there were more of them as it fills up quickly on busy days. The location is beautiful and the campus has perfect placement for going into the city, or to Mutley with a thriving student life. There are many societies to join and you can make your own if there's something you're missing. The Student Union is fun and popular, and they arrange different things that the students enjoy. The university also has a range of different places to get a coffee or something to eat, with menus that change on the daily for variation and good deals.

Some of the lecturers and seminar people (don't know what they're called, sorry) are amazing, however there are others that are harder to understand and aren't as engaging with the students. All of them are very open to feedback however and are very happy to receive emails with questions. Some of the lecturers are very clear about their expectations for us and aren't afraid to put students on the spot to make sure we're paying attention. I like this as it keeps us engaged and makes us focused, rather than having lecturers that allow us to be lazy and inattentive. The feedback we get on assignments is helpful and fair. The best lecturers are very clear with information about the module, future sessions as well as the assignments and tests. In the second semester we are honoured to have guest speakers talk about their passions within the business world, something that creates a more practical insight into our future careers as well as variation in the lectures.

I am enjoying my course and the lectures do a really good job and have been a great support at my time in Plymouth. Work hard and get your work done do not leave it all to the last minute. I have some great friends and Plymouth is really social and you are always meeting new people. Its worth talking to people in the students support services to help with jobs after uni. Being a post grad means I have actually had to do work so I would say to students to enjoy their undergraduate degrees.
