Living at home for the first year and the uni really made adapting to uni life extremely easy- strong support for students of all backgrounds. Excellent physics department with a good spread of lecturers. A lot of nice clubs and restaurants and the student like is the best of any university in the U.K. par London.

In my experience each semester prepare yourself to be fed up with one lecturer and love one. It is what it is. Course is difficult which is not a surprise however if you put in work you reap the rewards and oh how sweet it is to finally solve a Physics problem!

A really strong student life and student representatives. Work through student Union is the quickest way to get part time work. It comes at a price to live as nice as Manchester however I pay £120 in rent and that’s at the lower end sadly
