My overall experience is definitely positive. There are so many things that you can get involved to. The sports central for example has tons of different sport teams that you can join.

Some of the computers in the business faculty are not always working but other than that the facilities are extraordinary. The Library, for example, is huge and you can even rent laptops if you don't have one.

The academic support is perfect. You get feedback on every task you do and every assignment you submit. I can not judge the personal support since I have not made any contact with that.

It's great. They offer tons of activities and the societies cover a wide range of interests

Newcastle is a great city. The atmosphere is very nice and it has a lot to offer. The shopping street is great for purchasing everything from computers to clothes.

The societies that I participate in are very cool. They meet every week and the persons in charge try to offer as many different activities as possible.

I would like a little more guidance for the Assignments. Especially as a foreign student, it is quite hard to find out on your own what the university is looking for in terms of style of the assignment etc I really like that the professors and tutors put a lot of effort into the modules and they always have time for students to talk about any issues.

You can do placements, there is a business clinic where you can do consulting projects for real companies, there is a career service that advices students

Its a flat with 3 people living in it. Each room has its own bathroom and there is a shared kitchen/living space

My experience has been good so far. It's been easy to get accustomed to the school and help is always available. The modules are well taught and the seminars give you an opportunity to think about the theories you have learnt and how they are applied in real life cases. There is a lot of support for your studies such as academic, library and research support. I have made friend from different nationalities because this is truly an international school.

In my opinion the university facilities are very good. they are fit for purpose and are functional.

The support is very good and readily available. Students are also well informed on where they can go to for help or to ask questions which is excellent.

I haven't been involved with the students union as yet and this is because I am mainly focused on my lectures and seminars during the school day. Also as I stay in private housing not close to the school I am unable to participate in an activities in the evening.

the city is lively in a good way. You can find anything to suit your particular tastes eg shopping, dinning, outdoor activities.

I like the fact that my course is related to real life operations and global organisations and not just the theory of it. I love that I am also being taught the theories that underpin these practices. My course has practical aspects which allows me to practice what I am being taught in a controlled environment while gaining necessary feedback from my tutors. What I like the least is the pace of the course. It seems so fast paced especially for the first 7 weeks, however this may also be attributed to the fact that I have been out of the academic environment for a while now.

There are several ways this is done. First of all, all our modules are geared towards increasing our employability. The theories are also given a practical real world view through the teaching, seminars and case studies. We also undertake practical group exercises to practice our decision making skills when putting these theories in practice. The school provides careers supports through the Career department where you can drop in a get one on one support tailored to your needs which could be CV writing, interview preparation and general questions on your job search process. There are several sessions on placements and their role in your course. There is a placement fair which brings together hundreds of employers to the school and allows you the student to interact with them and gain more information. these fairs are organised based on your course of study and area of interest which means you will be seeing relevant employers when you attend. All activities are well publicised so students can take advantage of them.
