Everything so far has been great; freshers week was fantastic. I am involved in various things such as Lacrosse, Inkwell volunteering and enjoy going into the city to walk around the minister and other places.

Extremely good, though would love more space in the library !

There is lots of different types of support on campus everything that you can think of the university has it.

Seems to offer help when you need it.

Walk around the Minister- especially since its free for students!

The university is great but you can never be certain about career prospects.

First year accommodation wasn't what I wanted and I ended up paying more to live in a college I didn't choose. However the college experience was better than I expected and the experience helped me and my housemates bond!

York was probably my 4th choice when i filled out my ucas form but due to various circumstances i ended up here and I am SO happy i did. The college system is lovely, the city is beautiful and I have had some of the best nights out of my life here. My biggest piece of advice would be to get involved in a society - I joined York Vision (Newspaper) and I am having a great time and have made some of my best friends there. The english lit course is varied and interesting and you get complete freedom over your essay titles/topics.
